Dr. Gale Savage, Chiropractor

Dr Savage was born in Ontario, Canada and first attended Credit Valley School of Nursing graduating in 1973 and received her license as a Registered Nurse. She worked as a Registered Nurse for five years and became very interested in the chiropractic profession. She was intrigued by the philosophy of chiropractic being drugless and the natural healing approach. In the hospitals that she had worked she saw the patients receiving a medication to treat a symptom and not necessarily the cause. The medication would cause another symptom side effect and they were given another medication to combat that symptom. This snowballed until the patient was on dozens of medications. Better to treat the cause and not the symptom. With this experience behind her she entered Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa and graduated in 1977. She then moved to San Diego where the weather was much better than the cold north. In 1978 she opened her own practice in Mira Mesa and it has grown to what it is today combining chiropractic with other natural healing arts.
